Learn to surf alongside other beginners at Surfer's Beach in Half Moon Bay. Build foundational skills with instruction in etiquette, safety, and wave dynamics.

Itinerary

1. Arrive & Check In Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in and meet your instructors.

2. Get Suited Up We'll provide your wetsuit and surfboard — staff will help you gear up.

3. On-Land Surf Intro Learn the basics of surfing, ocean awareness, and how to properly stand up.

4. Safety Talk & Hazard Review Instructors will walk you through ocean conditions and safety protocols.

5. Pop-Up Practice on the Beach Practice your "pop-up" technique on land with real-time feedback from instructors.

6. Enter the Water with Instructors Head into the ocean as a group, guided step-by-step by your instructors.

7. Surf & Catch Waves Start riding waves with hands-on help and coaching from your instructors.

8. Wrap Up & Walk Back End the session, walk back up to the lot, and get changed.

Important details

• Ages 16+ only
• Requires treading water for at least 30 seconds and swimming one pool lap unassisted
• Complete a waiver before participating
• Wear a swimsuit under your wetsuit and bring flip-flops, water, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes
