Volcano & Waterfall Helicopter Tour from Hilo

Itinerary

1. Depart from Blue Hawaiian Helicopters at Hilo Airport. Departure times are 07:45, 09:00, 10:30, 11:45, 12:45, 14:00, 15:15, and 16:30.
2. Explore Hilo from the air on a 50-minute guided helicopter tour, with highlights including Wailuku River State Park, Hilo Forest Reserve, Kīlauea, and Pu'u 'O'o. The route and views depend on weather conditions, and some highlights may be skipped due to weather or capacity.
3. Return to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters at Hilo Airport approximately 50 minutes after departure. Corresponding return times are 08:35, 09:50, 11:20, 12:35, 13:35, 14:50, 16:05, and 17:20.

Important details

• Infants under 24 months ride free on an adult's lap without a separate seat. Their weight counts toward the weight of the adult holding them. Child seats are not available.
• Individual passenger weight must be under 108 kg (240 lbs). Combined front-row passenger weight must be under 214 kg (470 lbs). Seating is subject to check-in weights, and front-row seats may be reassigned if these limits are exceeded.
• Sign a liability waiver before taking part.
• Boarding may be refused if you appear intoxicated, with no refund.
• Do not bring outside food or drinks, selfie sticks or extendable wands aboard the aircraft. Do not wear hats, scarves or bandannas around the helicopters.
• Keep your phone in airplane mode and do not use flash photography.
• Arrive 45 minutes before departure for weigh-in and the safety briefing.
