Guides like Mark, Brian, and Randy have built a strong reputation for making first-timers feel completely at ease on Segways. Across dozens of tours through spots like Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, and Washington Island, reviewers consistently praise how quickly they got comfortable on the machines, often within just a few minutes of instruction. The guides bring genuine enthusiasm to each tour, pointing out wildlife, local history, and scenic highlights along the way. What stands out most is how welcoming this experience seems to be for all kinds of riders. Guests in their 60s and 70s, families with teenagers, and even someone navigating mobility challenges after a stroke all came away raving about their time. Safety is clearly a priority, but it never seems to overshadow the fun. If you've been on the fence about trying a Segway tour in Door County, the reviews make a pretty convincing case that you'll be glad you went.
We had our 1st Segway tour experience with Segway the Door Tours and it was great. The instructions at the beginning were clear and our guide was very encouraging as we figured out how to ride properly. The tour of the park was great - gorgeous views and our tour guide Mark had lots of little tidbits of knowledge to share.
