Important details
- Ages 7+ only
- Arrive by 6:50 AM for check-in
- Bring your ID and a signed printed or digital sport fishing license before boarding
- Nonresident anglers under 16 do not need a sport fishing license
- Bring lunch, snacks, beverages, warm layers, gloves, a hat, and rain gear
- Leave bananas, drugs including THC, glass bottles, waders, and open-toed shoes behind
- Use permit parking; a $13 round-trip tunnel fee and approximately $10 day parking fee apply if you drive to Whittier
- A service fee applies and is not included in the listed price
- An additional fuel surcharge may apply if fuel exceeds $6 per gallon after taxes
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 30 days or more before departure for a full refund less a 3% processing fee. Later cancellations are nonrefundable. If the operator cancels due to weather or mechanical issues, you may be rebooked or receive a refund less a 3% processing fee.
FAQs
On mixed-group trips, stop bottom fishing after catching a keeper halibut until the boat moves to another area to target other species. The charter does not allow party fishing toward a boat-wide limit.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation. Intoxicated travelers will not be allowed to board, and the boat may return to harbor if alcohol consumption becomes a safety issue.
Bring white, unscented trash bags for your fish; other trash bags are also accepted. Bring an ice chest or cooler for transport, but leave it in your vehicle until the charter returns to port.
