The summit trail covers roughly 1.6 miles round trip and gains about 560 feet in elevation, passing through open switchbacks, a narrow lighted tunnel, and two sets of stairs before reaching the pillbox overlooks at the top. From the rim, the view encompasses the full arc of Waikiki Beach, the blue expanse of the Pacific, and the green slopes of Koko Head to the east.
