Ukumehame Beach Park sits along the Honoapiilani Highway on Maui's western coastline, roughly between Maalaea and Olowalu. The name Ukumehame refers to the surrounding gulch and valley, a landscape shaped by the West Maui Mountains rising steeply behind the coast.
