My husband and I booked a Private Carriage Tour on our first night in Savannah for our honeymoon. The carriage ride was a perfect introduction to the city and experiencing it in a horse drawn carriage was romantic in every sense of the word! Natalie was our driver/tour guide and she was wonderful. We could tell she loved her job and loved the city she was showing us which elevated the experience. The ride was the perfect blend of informative (of Savannah's history and landscape) and relaxing. My husband and I were able to take in the sights and sounds and also get oriented to the beautiful city we were in. I highly recommend booking a private carriage tour if you're looking for a romantic evening seeing the city by carriage.
