The Banyan Tree restaurant earns rave reviews for ocean views and cocktails, while activities like the e-bike tours and lei-making classes add authentic Hawaiian flavor. The location on Kapalua's quieter northwest coast offers tranquility, though you'll need to drive about 10 minutes for different beach options. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony looking out over the ocean, fell asleep to the waves every night. The pool area is great, lots of shade and lounge chairs, and the beach down the hill is quiet and good for snorkeling in the morning. Staff were warm and genuinely helpful, felt more laid back than a typical Ritz. Restaurants on site were good so we didn't have to leave much. It's a splurge and a bit far from the busier parts of the island, but if you want peace and quiet with a view, this is it. Would absolutely come back.

The pool area is great, lots of shade and lounge chairs, and the beach down the hill is quiet and good for snorkeling in the morning. Staff were warm and genuinely helpful, felt more laid back than a typical Ritz. Restaurants on site were good so we didn't have to leave much. It's a splurge and a bit far from the busier parts of the island, but if you want peace and quiet with a view, this is it. Would absolutely come back.
