Rose Bridge Farm & Sanctuary invites you to slow down, get creative, and connect with nature’s gentler side. This peaceful rescue farm just outside Philadelphia pairs hands-on workshops—think farm-grown candle making, terrariums, ...
This animal sanctuary wins hearts with its friendly staff and genuinely well-cared-for animals. Guides like Collin, Natalie, and Bonnie get praised repeatedly for being knowledgeable, sweet, and patient with visitors. The experience itself centers on intimate animal interactions, from feeding baby goats and cuddling piglets to walking goats and spending time with cows. Families especially love the hands-on approach, with several reviewers mentioning how their kids had the time of their lives. The property is gorgeous, and you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do. That said, expectations matter here. A couple of visitors found the cow cuddling experience underwhelming, noting minimal supervision and cows that weren't particularly interested in attention. One reviewer questioned the sanctuary's ethics around unsupervised animal interactions and their choice to serve factory-farmed dairy products in the barn, which felt inconsistent with their mission. These seem like isolated concerns though, as the overwhelming majority rave about the care given to the animals and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Just know you'll need reservations, and experiences vary in structure, some include full tours while others are more self-directed.
