Salty's has earned a loyal following on Hilton Head Island, with customers praising the combination of competitive pricing and genuinely helpful service. Linda and her team get consistent praise for being responsive, accommodating, and going above and beyond typical rental shop expectations. Multiple reviewers mention they're repeat customers who wouldn't consider going anywhere else, which speaks volumes about the reliability you can count on here. The convenience factor really stands out. Free delivery to your rental is standard, and bikes often arrive exactly when promised or even early. You can easily add items to your order mid-vacation, and the team handles special requests like tandem bikes and dog trailers without issue. The bikes are generally well-maintained and comfortable, even for those who haven't cycled in years. One reviewer noted the equipment showing its age a bit, but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Overall, this is a solid choice for exploring the island without the hassle of dealing with complicated logistics.
Great place to rent bikes from. they were so nice and took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend them!
