Itinerary
This 2-day tour with 1 night at Yosemite Valley Lodge runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from April through October. The schedule may change depending on traffic and weather.
- Day 1: Depart from selected San Francisco hotels and travel through Oakland, the East Bay, Gold Country, and the Sierra Foothills.
- Make a quick stop to buy lunch for later. Lunch is at your own expense and is not included in the listed price.
- Arrive at Yosemite National Park and hike to the Giant Sequoia Grove.
- Enjoy lunch, then explore Yosemite Valley on a guided tour.
- Check in at Yosemite Valley Lodge.
- Visit the base of Yosemite Falls. Choose from activities that may include exploring the Ansel Adams Gallery or the historic Ahwahnee lodge, hiking, or biking along the river.
- Have dinner and explore the park on your own. Dinner is at your own expense and is not included in the listed price.
- Day 2: Have breakfast, then check out of Yosemite Valley Lodge. Breakfast is at your own expense and is not included in the listed price.
- Drive to Glacier Point for views of Yosemite Valley from high in the mountains.
- Choose from activities that may include hiking back to the valley, exploring the bike trails, or returning in the van for a free day in Yosemite Valley.
- Head to the base of El Capitan for more views.
- Return to San Francisco, stopping about halfway to stretch and grab dinner.

Important details
- Ages 0–18 require an accompanying paying adult.
- Non-US residents aged 16+ may be charged a separate USD 100 per person, per national park fee on site. This is not included in the listed price, and the fee is subject to change.
- Meals and beverages are at your own expense and are not included in the listed price.
- Wear a seat belt and follow the carrier's rules; service may be denied if you refuse.
- Limit luggage to one soft-sided overnight bag per person, approximately airline carry-on size. For quadruple occupancy, a hard-sided bag measuring up to 13.5 × 12 × 11 inches is also permitted instead.
- If Yosemite Valley Lodge is unavailable, you'll stay at a comparable hotel.
- If fewer than 5 passengers join the tour, you'll automatically transfer to the semi-guided 2-day Yosemite National Park tour.
- Arrive in the property's lobby 15 minutes before your selected pickup time. Shared pickup may be early or late.
Cancellation Policy
100% refund for cancellations at least 8 days before the activity; 50% from 25 hours to less than 8 days before. No refund within 24 hours, for no-shows, or if service is denied for refusing seat belts or carrier rules. If the operator cancels due to unforeseen events or extreme weather, you may request a full refund.
