Itinerary
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation start time for the check-in process.
- At check-in, please provide a government ID that matches the name of the reservation and sign our liability waiver.
- Begin your demo lesson with a short FAA SFAR Awareness Training from your instructor which gives you permission to manipulate the R44 controls.
- Receive a 15-minute guided instructional session in our FAA-approved flight simulator.
- Proceed to the helicopter to receive a safety briefing and embark on your 30-minute flight lesson.
- Return to Long Beach and receive your signed certificate. Flight time logged during your flight can be used towards a helicopter license!
Important details
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation start time
- Bring a government ID that matches the reservation name and sign a liability waiver
- First-time demo participants only; FAA regulations do not allow a second demo flight
- Only one participant receives flight instruction and flight-time credit
- Individual passenger weight must be under 300 lbs (136 kg)
- Combined passenger weight must be under 580 lbs (263 kg)
- Wear closed-toe shoes if receiving flight instruction
- Remain free of drugs and alcohol; signs of impairment prevent you from flying
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 72 hours before start for a 90% refund; cancel 48–72 hours before start for a 50% refund. No refunds within 48 hours or for no-shows. After a complimentary reschedule, cancellations receive a 50% refund. Flights affected by adverse weather, Temporary Flight Restrictions, or unforeseen maintenance will be rebooked or fully refunded at no extra charge.
