Itinerary
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation start time for the check-in process.
- At check-in, please provide a government ID that matches the name of the reservation and sign our liability waiver.
- Begin your demo lesson with a short FAA SFAR Awareness Training from your instructor that will permit you to touch the controls in the R22.
- Receive a 15 minute guided instructional session in our FAA-approved flight simulator.
- Proceed to the helicopter to receive a safety briefing and embark on your 30-minute flight lesson over Long Beach.
- Return to Long Beach and receive your signed certificate. Flight time logged during your flight can be used towards a helicopter license!
Important details
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation time
- Bring a government ID that matches the reservation name
- Sign a liability waiver at check-in
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- R22 passenger weight limit: 220 lbs / 99 kg, including clothes and shoes
- Accurate passenger weight is required, and weight verification may occur on arrival
- First-time demo participants only; prior demo participants cannot fly a second demo
- Do not arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 72 hours before start for a 90% refund; 48–72 hours before start for a 50% refund. No refund within 48 hours or for no-shows. If weather, FAA restrictions, or aircraft maintenance affect your flight, it will be rebooked or fully refunded at no extra charge.
