Take the controls of a Robinson R44 helicopter during an introductory flight lesson. Bring up to two companions to share the ride while one person receives instruction.

Itinerary
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation start time for the check-in process.
- At check-in, please provide a government ID that matches the name of the reservation and sign our liability waiver.
- Begin your demo lesson with a short FAA SFAR Awareness Training from your instructor which gives you permission to manipulate the R44 controls.
- Receive a 15 minute guided instructional session in our FAA-approved flight simulator.
- Proceed to the helicopter to receive a safety briefing and embark on your 30-minute flight lesson.
- Return to Long Beach and receive your signed certificate. Flight time logged during your flight can be used towards a helicopter license!

Important details
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early with a government-issued ID matching the reservation and sign a liability waiver
- First-time demo flight participants only; FAA regulations do not allow a second demo flight
- Individual passenger weight must be below 300 lbs (136 kg), and combined group weight must be below 580 lbs (263 kg)
- Expect passenger weight verification on arrival
- Wear closed-toe shoes if you are receiving flight instruction
- Do not arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 72 hours before start for a 90% refund; cancel 48–72 hours before start for a 50% refund. No refund within 48 hours or for no-shows. Flights affected by adverse weather, Temporary Flight Restrictions, or aircraft maintenance are rebooked or fully refunded at no extra charge.
