Learn how bees live and forage as you explore a working hive with an experienced beekeeper. After the tour, sample honey varietals and browse museum artifacts and locally made gifts.
Reservations are required. The tour is stroller and wheelchair accessible, undercover indoors and outdoors, with minimal walking. Taxis are not readily available in the area, so prearrange return transportation if using a taxi or ride-share.
Must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the date of tour in order to receive a full refund.
You don’t need protective clothing. Wear what’s comfortable—shorts, sleeveless shirts, and sandals are welcome.
You stay behind a safe, screened area while the beekeeper brings the hive to you.
Yes. The tour is stroller and wheelchair accessible, requires minimal walking, and both the indoor and outdoor portions are undercover.
