- Requires stepping into the vehicle independently or with help from your companion and navigating stairs or uneven terrain
- Keep 10–15 feet from sea turtles and do not touch them
- Children under 2 require a rear-facing harness car seat; children ages 2–4 require a harness car seat
- Children ages 4–10 require a car seat or booster unless they are over 4 ft 9 in; taller children may use a seat belt
- Infant and booster seats are available at no charge with advance notice, subject to availability
- Luggage is not permitted; bring only a small bag or backpack that fits on your lap or under the seat
- Alcohol possession and consumption are prohibited on the van
- Drones are not allowed in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park
- Expect possible exposure to volcanic emissions, including sulfur gas, plus extended van travel and elevation changes
- Tours operate rain or shine, and park closures or conditions may require itinerary adjustments
- Meals may be prepared in kitchens that handle common allergens, so cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed

Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours before departure. Operator cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances receive a full refund. If your cruise ship cannot dock, receive a full refund. No refund for no-shows.

Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring a light sweater or jacket. A hat, sunglasses, sunblock, bug repellent, walking stick, poncho or umbrella, and snacks are also useful.
Lunch includes a choice from available options, but food may be prepared in kitchens that handle nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, and other allergens. Cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. Bring your own food or snacks if you prefer.
