Explore Chugach State Park on a relaxed 3-hour guided ATV tour. Ride rainforest trails, learn wildlife spotting skills, and take a short hike to a glacier-fed waterfall with views of Turnagain Arm.
Riders must be 8+ years old, at least 48 inches tall and 50 lbs. Drivers must be 16+, 60 inches, 100 lbs, and physically able to operate an ATV. Tours run rain or shine; guides have the final say for safety.
Are there restrooms?
Yes, restrooms are in the parking lot.
What should I wear?
Long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a warm layer are required. Bring rain gear if possible; ponchos are available to borrow.
Do tours run in the rain?
Yes, we ride rain or shine. Quality rain gear will make your trip more comfortable.
What happens at check-in?
You will meet your guide, sign a waiver, get fitted with a helmet, and practice on the training course before entering the park.
Is there a hike?
Yes, it is short with two steep sections. You may stay at the overlook if you prefer not to hike.
Will I see wildlife?
Wildlife is not guaranteed, but guides share tips to help you spot eagles, moose, Dall sheep, mountain goats, and seasonal salmon.
What are the age and size requirements?
Riders must be 8+ years, 48 inches, and 50 lbs or more. Drivers must be 16+, 60 inches, 100 lbs or more, and physically able to handle an ATV.
Rides run rain or shine. Cancel 15 days or more before departure for a refund less a $25 processing fee; no refund within 14 days.
