Explore Chugach State Park on a 3-hour guided ATV tour close to Anchorage. Ride forest trails at a relaxed pace and take a short hike to a glacier-fed waterfall with sweeping views.
Riders must be 8+ years old, at least 48 in tall, and 50 lbs or more. Drivers must be 16+, at least 60 in tall, 100 lbs or more, and physically able to operate an ATV. Tours run rain or shine; the hike includes two steep sections but is optional.

Are there restrooms?
Yes, you’ll find restrooms in the parking lot
Where do I park?
Park in the gravel lot at the end of Konikson Road near the gate on the right. RVs are welcome (no overnight camping)
What should I wear?
Long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a warm layer are required. Bring rain gear if possible — we have ponchos to borrow. Expect to get dirty, so pack extra socks and shoes if you have plans afterward
Do tours run in the rain?
Yes — we ride rain or shine. Quality rain gear will make your trip more comfortable
What happens at check-in?
You’ll meet your guide, sign a waiver, get fitted with a helmet, and practice on the training course before heading into Chugach State Park
Is there a hike?
Yes. It’s short but includes two steep sections. If you prefer not to hike, you can stay at the overlook and enjoy the views
Will I see wildlife?
Wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed, but guides share spotting tips to help you notice eagles, moose, Dall sheep, mountain goats, salmon (seasonal), and sometimes even bears
What are the age and size requirements?
Riders must be 8+ years old, 48” tall, and 50 lbs or more. Drivers must be 16+, 60” tall, 100 lbs or more, and physically able to handle an ATV. No license required
We ride rain or shine. Cancel 15 days or more before travel for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee; no refunds within 14 days.
