Sunrise delivers exactly what kayakers want: hassle-free rentals, clean equipment, and incredible wildlife spotting in the mangroves. The owner and staff, particularly Charles and Jonathan, consistently earn praise for being friendly, knowledgeable, and going the extra mile to help visitors. People love how easy it is to just show up and get on the water without fuss. This is primarily a self-guided rental operation rather than guided tours, so you're exploring at your own pace. The mangrove tunnels are the star attraction here. Reviewers regularly report seeing manatees, dolphins, otters, stingrays, scarlet ibises, and sea turtles. The kayaks are comfortable and well-maintained, suitable for paddlers of all abilities. One helpful tip that comes up: snap a photo of the map before heading out, as the mangrove waterways can be tricky to navigate. Regulars keep coming back, with some on their third or fourth visit, which speaks volumes about the experience.
We love kayaking in this area, mangrove life is such a joy to watch! We book every year with Sunrise City Adventures, and they never disappoint. Very supportive, all equipment is clean and well functioning. Recommend!
