- Ages 25+ only for the renter and all boat drivers; strong boating experience is required
- Follow Minnesota boating laws during your rental
- Bring children's life jackets and any larger life jacket size needed
- Fuel used is not included in the listed price; refill fuel at the end of your rental
- Late returns incur a $30 charge, plus $5 for every additional 5 minutes; returns over 1 hour late incur a half-day rental charge
- Accept responsibility for damage to the boat or equipment during your rental
- Complete the rental waiver before departure
- Expect a credit-card processing fee not included in the listed price
- Do not smoke or bring pets aboard; use charcoal-free grills only off the watercraft

Cancellation Policy
Cancel 14+ days before your reservation for a full refund minus the booking fee or rescheduling. Cancel 4–13 days before for rescheduling only. Within 3 days, no rescheduling or refunds.

A valid Watercraft Operator’s Permit or state-approved Watercraft Rental Course certificate is required to rent a motorized boat in Minnesota.
Weather-related cancellations receive a credit toward another rental. If you live more than 75 miles from Lake City, you may be eligible for a refund. Rain must continue throughout the rental to cancel.
