Important details
- Ages 12+ only to paddle alone; children under 12 may share a tandem kayak or canoe with an adult age 18+
- Swimming required unless a child is with a parent or guardian
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Paddlers under 18 require adult permission and an adult-signed waiver
- Wear a life jacket near and on the water
- Single kayak weight limit 275 lbs; tandem kayak limit 450 lbs, depending on river and weather conditions
- Return within two hours of departure; a $10 late fee applies and is not included in the listed price

Same-day cancellations may not receive a refund. No refunds for no-shows. If closed due to weather or river conditions, you can receive a refund.

You must be 12+ to paddle your own kayak. If you’re under 12, you can share a tandem kayak or canoe with someone age 18+.
Everyone must know how to swim; children must be with a parent or guardian.
Wear lightweight clothing (avoid jeans or heavy cotton) and sandals, flip-flops, or thin-soled shoes. Bring a filled water bottle and dress for the weather (a windbreaker or rain jacket can help). Sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, a camera, ID, and money are also recommended.
