Chase the Northern Lights near Fairbanks with a small-group aurora guide
8 Hours
Guide, photos, transport
Head out from Fairbanks on an evening aurora tour designed for viewing and photographing the Northern Lights. Your guide chooses locations each night based on forecasted conditions.
A minimum of 2 guests is required to operate the tour. Gratuity is not included. If you don’t confirm the day-of call by 5:30 pm, your seats may be released and you may be marked as a no-show.
Refundable up to 72 hours prior to your initial tour departure booking date and time. If moved to another date during your confirmation call, the 72-hour timeline does not transfer to the new date. Cancellations due to overwhelmingly poor weather conditions will be refunded during the forecast call.
Expect a call from the Aurora Team on the day of your tour between 3:00–5:00 pm. You must confirm by returning the call or sending a text message by 5:30 pm; if you don’t, your seats may be released and you may be considered a no-show.
During the day-of call, if conditions are overwhelmingly unlikely to be successful, the team will work with you to reschedule based on availability.
Dress in layers (base layers, mid-layers, and heavy outerwear). Wear insulated winter boots and two pairs of socks (wool works well), plus a winter hat and gloves; you may also want disposable hand warmers. Aurora viewing involves standing outside at night, so plan for cold temperatures.
