Important details

• Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure; boarding begins about 15 minutes before departure
• A return trip time is required
• Line up at the Outbound Reservations gate and have your confirmation or reservation name ready
• Ride only in your assigned car
• No restrooms are available on board; use station restrooms before boarding or during your layover
• Dress in layers and bring a jacket or blanket; outdoor seats may not be changed if weather shifts, and indoor climate control is not reliable
• No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the train or railroad property
• Children must remain with an adult, and everyone must keep hands and arms inside the car walls
• Pets are permitted only in outdoor cars; only task-trained service animals are allowed in indoor cars
• Wheelchair lift boarding is available only in Garibaldi; travelers unable to climb steps must remain on board during the Rockaway Beach layover
• For locomotive cab rides, ages 11–18 require an accompanying adult with a cab ride ticket; ages 10 and under are prohibited, and a liability release is required at check-in
