Experience Chugach State Park on a private 3-hour backcountry ATV tour reserved for your group. Ride rainforest trails, stop for photos, and take a short hike to a glacier-fed waterfall.
Riders must be 8+ years old, at least 48 in tall, and 50 lbs or more. Drivers must be 16+, at least 60 in tall, and 100 lbs or more; no license required. Tours run rain or shine, and the short hike includes two steep sections.
What’s included?
A 3-hour guided tour with safety orientation, helmet, water, and a snack (upgraded snacks on exclusive tours)
Are there restrooms?
Yes, restrooms are in the parking lot
Where do I park?
Park in the gravel lot at the end of Konikson Road near the gate on the right; parking is $5 per vehicle
What should I wear?
Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a warm layer; bring rain gear if possible
Do tours run in the rain?
Yes, tours operate rain or shine
What happens at check-in?
Meet your guide, sign a waiver, get fitted with a helmet, and practice on the training course
Is there a hike?
Yes, it is short with two steep sections; you may stay at the overlook if you prefer
Will I see wildlife?
Wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed, but guides share spotting tips for moose, Dall sheep, mountain goats, eagles, salmon (seasonal), and sometimes bears
What are the age and size requirements?

Cancellations 15 days or more before travel receive a full refund less a $25 processing fee; 14 days or less receive no refund.
