    Itinerary

#11:15 am: Pickup from within the City Limits of Page or Meet at the Shell Gas Station

Complimentary pickup anywhere within Page city limits at your hotel, Airbnb, or campground. Not staying in Page or checking out early? Join us the Shell Gas Station aka Big Lake Trading Post by 9:30 am sharp. Your driver will confirm your pickup details at booking.

#Transit to the canyon: Cultural storytelling on the road

As we head toward the Navajo Nation, your local guide begins sharing stories, traditions, and history of the land, the canyon, and the Navajo people — making the journey to the canyon part of the experience itself.

#Arrival at the site: Handoff to your canyon guide & boarding the 4×4 trucks

Upon arriving at Upper Antelope Canyon, you'll be handed off to your Navajo canyon guide and reboard 4×4 trucks with open back seating. These rugged vehicles carry you across approximately two miles of unpaved desert road and is a 10-minute ride to the canyon entrance.

The truck ride itself is part of the adventure with open-air seating puts you in the landscape before you ever step inside the canyon.

    #12:00 pm - 1:00pm: Into the canyon

Your guide leads you into the sculpted sandstone passageways on a one-way, roughly quarter-mile walk. The canyon is above ground — wide enough to move through comfortably — with towering walls that filter sunlight into glowing colors. Your guide points out the best photo spots, explains the geology, and shares Navajo legends woven into the rock.

#1:00--1:15 pm: Exiting the canyon and the walkway out

After exiting the far end of the canyon, a covered walkway takes you up and over the top. The path begins with a steady 45-degree incline, then levels off before descending a staircase back down to the waiting 4×4 trucks below. The walkway is shaded and well-maintained. Sturdy footwear is recommended.

    #1:45 pm: Drop-off

    Admission included

Step into Upper Antelope Canyon and the world narrows to a corridor of warm, rippling sandstone. Light filters down from the slot above, painting the walls in deep amber, rust, and lavender as it shifts with the angle of the sun. Walking through Upper Antelope Canyon feels less like a hike and more like moving through a living sculpture. Every bend reveals a new curve in the rock, shaped over centuries by floodwaters carving smooth channels through Navajo sandstone.
