#9:20-30 am: Pickup from within the City Limits of Page or Meet at the Shell Gas Station
Complimentary pickup anywhere within Page city limits at your hotel, Airbnb, or campground. Not staying in Page or checking out early? Join us the Shell Gas Station aka Big Lake Trading Post by 9:30 am sharp. Your driver will confirm your pickup details at booking.
#Transit: Cultural storytelling on the road
Your local Navajo guide begins sharing stories, history, and traditions of the land and the Navajo people as you travel — making every ride between stops part of the experience itself.
#What to Expect at Lower Antelope Canyon
#10:00 am: At the canyon: Check-in & 10-minute walk to the entrance
Your ShunDiin guide checks you in at the Lower Canyon booth then hands you off to the Navajo tour guide and walks with you along a short 10-minute path to the entrance.
Then you will descend 5 flights of stairs (or 82 steps total) into the largest cavern of the tour, where the V-shaped canyon walls close tightly around you in swirling layers of amber, violet, and rose.
Lower Canyon is V-shaped — wide at the top, narrow at the base. Not recommended for guests with claustrophobia or significant mobility limitations.
#10:15 am - 11:15 am: Inside Lower Canyon: A 1.1-mile walk through sculpted underground color
Follow a one-way path through one of the most vividly colored slot canyons on earth. Your guide shares Navajo legends and photo tips as you move through the winding underground passageways.
#Exiting Lower Canyon and climbing out on 8 ladders with handrails
The exit climbs you gradually back to the surface through 8 separate ladders, each with handrails, as the canyon opens toward daylight above. Closed-toe shoes with good grip are required for this section.
#What to Expect at Upper Antelope Canyon
#11:30 am: Transit between canyons and Reboard 4×4 truck ride
Your Shun'Diin guide escorts you back to the van and transfers you to the Upper Canyon site. Here you're handed off to your Upper Canyon guide and reboard 4×4 trucks with open back seating for a 10-minute ride across two miles of unpaved desert road to the canyon entrance.
#12:00 pm — Canyon entry Into Upper Antelope for the infamous light beams
Your Navajo canyon guide leads you into the A-shaped sandstone passageways on a one-way quarter-mile walk above ground. The wider walls and overhead openings channel shafts of sunlight into glowing beams that illuminate the canyon floor. Your guide points out the best photo spots and shares the stories of this sacred place.
Upper Canyon is above ground and more accessible than Lower — no ladders, relatively flat sandy floor. The 12:00 pm time slot catches the canyon at peak midday light.
#1:00 pm: Exiting Upper Canyon via the covered walkway out
After exiting the far end of the canyon, a covered walkway carries you up and over the top. The path begins with a steady 45-degree incline, levels off, then descends a staircase back down to the waiting 4×4 trucks below for the ride back.
#Approximately 1:40 pm: Lunch break and a Gourmet Sandwich is included
After Upper Canyon, your gourmet boxed lunch is ready and waiting, a chance to refuel and rest before heading to the water. Dietary preferences? Let us know at booking and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Complimentary bottled water is provided throughout the entire day.
#Lake Powell Boat Tour and Transfer to Antelope Point Marina
Your Shun'Diin guide transfers you to Antelope Point Marina on the shores of Lake Powell where your open-air tour boat is waiting. The marina sits right where Antelope Canyon drains into the lake giving you a front-row view before you even board.
#2:15 pm - 3:15pm: On the water: 1-hour boat cruise into the slot canyon from Lake Powell
Board a covered open-air pontoon boat and glide out onto the deep blue of Lake Powell. Your captain navigates between gradually narrowing canyon walls of towering Navajo sandstone which is the same geological formation you walked through on land, now seen from the water as the canyon narrows around you. The tour takes you to the point where Antelope Canyon meets the lake, giving you a perspective no land tour can offer.
The boat tour departs from Antelope Point Marina. The canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides of the waterway, an entirely different view of the same sandstone you explored on foot earlier in the day.
#Approximately 3:45 pm - 4:00 pm: Drop-off We return you to Page with drop-off at your hotel or Airbnb. A stop at Big Lake Trading Post is available for souvenirs and restrooms on the way back.
Cancel 5 or more days before your reservation date for a full refund, or 3–4 days before for a 48% refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. If canyon operators cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you can reschedule or receive a full refund. No-shows are charged the full reservation price.

Bring sunscreen and a water bottle. For winter canyon tours, bring warm clothing; temperatures are cooler inside the canyons.
Step into Upper Antelope Canyon and the world narrows to a corridor of warm, rippling sandstone. Light filters down from the slot above, painting the walls in deep amber, rust, and lavender as it shifts with the angle of the sun. Walking through Upper Antelope Canyon feels less like a hike and more like moving through a living sculpture. Every bend reveals a new curve in the rock, shaped over centuries by floodwaters carving smooth channels through Navajo sandstone.
