Our tour begins in port town of Whittier, where our expert guide will welcome you and your group. As we travel towards Anchorage, prepare for breathtaking views of Hanging Glaciers, engaging stories about the local history and culture. Optional walk to see Byron Glacier up close, Weather permitting.
Wildlife Conservation Center Tour + Local Scenery
As we venture through the diverse Alaskan landscapes, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings. Our route is known for encounters with moose, eagles, and possibly even bears, in their natural habitat. We also always visit the Wildlife Conservation Center. It's a great opportunity to see many Alaskan Animals, Bears, Moose, Elk and more across hundreds of acres.
Girdwood- Stop for optional lunch at local cafe and walk up to a scenic waterfall, weather permitting.
Scenic Highway to Anchorage- Enjoy the stunning scenic views of this last part of your tour and we will drop you off at your requested location!

Driving the Seward Highway south of Anchorage, you will spot the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center before you fully expect it, a broad sanctuary tucked between spruce forest and tidewater. Brown bears wade through meadow grass, wood bison graze in open pastures, and bald eagles perch at eye level. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center gives every visitor a rare, unhurried look at animals that define the Alaskan wilderness.
