• Sail along Santa Monica Pier on a coastal day charter
• Anchor at Malibu Pier, Paradise Cove, or Redondo Beach/King Harbor
• Plan a multi-day sail to Catalina Island or the Channel Islands
• Bring bedding, toiletries, food, and beverages unless arranged for your charter
• Pack sun protection, a hat, and layers for cool conditions on the water

Important details

• First-time charters or charters on a different boat size require a skills evaluation
• The skills evaluation is not included and costs $250 for up to 2 hours; additional time is $125 per hour
• You are responsible for the insurance deductible if an accident occurs
• Captain fees are not included; you'll settle them directly with the captain if you use one
• Optional add-ons are not included: dinghy $100 per day, linens $200 per boat, and early boarding or prior-evening sleeping $250
• Refueling service is not included and costs $50 plus fuel cost when used
• Empty the trash before leaving the boat
