Our tour was amazing! Todd was our guide and as a self proclaimed “nerd,” he was full of information about natives, animal tracking and foraging. He’s been in Alaska for the last 30 years so he has plenty of experience with wildlife, weather and geography. We did not actually see any wildlife except for a bald eagle, but plenty of bear scat!! Todd talked about plants, animal prints and practices, and the history/geology of the area. We did the Summer Valley & Forest tour. He took photos and was helpful on tricky terrain. 100% recommend Go Hike Alaska! This was my 3rd tour and I’ve always been impressed. The guides are informative, educated and helpful! They bring snacks and provide transportation- so if you’re visiting and don’t have a car- this is your best way to get out there and see the best parts of Alaska!
