- Arrive 15 minutes before your start time with your full group and gear ready
- All drivers and the renter must be at least 25 years old and have strong prior boating experience
- Bring children's life jackets; only adult life jackets are provided
- Accept the rental waiver covering liability, fuel replacement, and responsibility for damage
- You are responsible for replacing fuel used; fuel costs are not included in the listed price
- You are responsible for any damage to the boat or equipment during the rental
- Late returns incur a $30 charge, plus $5 for every additional 5 minutes; returns over 1 hour late are charged as a half-day rental
- A credit-card processing fee applies and is not included in the listed price
- Use only the designated dock for loading and unloading, then return the boat to the departure dock
- Keep smoking off all boats and rental equipment
- Use only charcoal-free grills and grill off the watercraft

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 14 days before your reservation for a full refund minus the booking fee, or reschedule. Reschedule 4–13 days before with no refund. No refunds or rescheduling within 3 days of your reservation.
FAQs
A valid Watercraft Operator’s Permit or state-approved Watercraft Rental Course certificate is required to rent a motorized boat in Minnesota. The renter and every driver must be at least 25 and have strong boating experience.
Weather decisions are made on the day of your rental. Cloudy or overcast conditions do not qualify for cancellation; rain must continue throughout the rental. Weather cancellations receive a credit toward another rental, and renters who live more than 75 miles from Lake City may be eligible for a refund.
