- Arrive 15 minutes early with your full group and gear ready
- Ages 25+ only for the renter and all drivers; strong prior boat-driving experience required
- Complete the required liability waiver before your rental
- Follow Minnesota boating laws
- Bring children's life jackets, as provided life jackets are for adults only
- Fuel replacement is required and is not included in the listed price
- You are responsible for damage to the boat or equipment during the rental
- A credit-card processing fee applies and is not included in the listed price
- Return to the designated departure dock; do not use other docks or gas docks to load or unload
- Late returns over 10 minutes incur a $30 charge, plus $5 for each additional 5 minutes; over 1 hour incurs a half-day rental charge
- No smoking or pets
- Use only charcoal-free grills and keep grilling off the watercraft

Cancellation Policy
Cancel 14+ days before your reservation for a full refund minus the booking fee, or reschedule. Reschedule 4–13 days before, with no refund. Within 3 days, no refunds or rescheduling. If extreme weather ends your rental before 60% of the rental time, a partial refund or extended future rental may be offered.
FAQs
The renter and all drivers must be at least 25 and have strong prior boat-driving experience. The renter also needs a valid Watercraft Operator's Permit or a state-approved Watercraft Rental Course certificate.
The boat seats up to 9 adults.
Cloudy or overcast conditions do not cancel rentals; rain throughout the rental is required for a weather cancellation. A credit toward another rental applies for weather or other unforeseen cancellations, and travelers living more than 75 miles from Lake City may be eligible for a refund.
