Enjoy more floating and less paddling on an easygoing river outing
3 hrs
Boat, shuttle, life jacket
Explore by single or tandem kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard, with a shuttle to get you started. You can also bring your own boat instead of renting.
This easy access float is perfect for beginners and a great introduction for children to the magic of the river. Join other friendly paddlers on our cool shuttle bus as we drive you from Susquehanna Outfitters to West Fairview, at the mouth of Conodoguinet Creek. You can paddle upstream in the creek or head for the open waters of the Susquehanna River. The panoramic views will take your breath away.
Float back to the Susquehanna Outfitters with the gentle currents. Explore the river’s many hidden gems and sandy secluded islands. Take a quick dip or collect river seashells and watch for wild creatures from beavers to bald eagles - all within the city limits of Harrisburg! This trip is rated tranquil – no experience needed.
Cancellation/change fees: 7 or fewer boats—free over 72 hours ahead, 50% at 24–72 hours, 100% under 24 hours; 8+ boats—free at least 7 days ahead, 50% at 4–7 days, 100% under 4 days.
