This family-run operation offers something truly special for those seeking an intimate canyon experience away from the crowds. Guests consistently praise the small group sizes, with many mentioning tours of just 2-10 people that feel almost private. The night tours have become a standout offering, with guides like Ron, Melanie, and Julia teaching visitors how to photograph the Milky Way using just their phones and sharing insights about Navajo culture and local wildlife along the way. The personal touch really shines through here. Guides take their time, never rushing visitors for photos, and several reviews mention staff helping elderly guests navigate the terrain. The moderate hike features well-lit paths with handrails, making it accessible for most fitness levels. One guest did encounter some tension when they arrived slightly later than expected, as there seems to be an expectation to arrive 20 minutes early that wasn't clearly communicated in their confirmation. However, this appears to be an isolated incident in an otherwise overwhelmingly positive stream of feedback about the friendly, patient service and the magical experience of exploring these stunning canyons without battling massive tour groups.

One of the absolute highlights of our time in Page. We booked last‑minute and called to see if there was any availability, and from the very first conversation the team was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. John went above and beyond to make sure we were making a safe decision with the rain in the area — he genuinely cared about conditions and our experience, not just filling a spot. We mentioned that we were hoping for something a bit more adventurous and unique. In Page, everyone talks about “a popular other Canyon” — and while it’s beautiful, it’s also a very commercial, high‑traffic experience where you’re moved through in big groups. We were looking for something more intimate and personal, and John immediately recommended Deer Canyon, which is on his family’s land. It turned out to be exactly what we hoped for. The descent was well over 250 feet, opening into a stunning slot canyon that we snaked through with unbelievable views at every turn, and ladders to climb up and out. We happened to be the only two on the tour, so it felt like a private experience — quiet, immersive, and paced perfectly for us. John shared the history of the land, pointed out geological details, and made the entire adventure feel meaningful and connected. One thing we loved is that this family‑owned company offers multiple canyon options on their land — from calmer, easier routes to more technical, adventurous ones. They truly have something for every type of traveler, whether you want a peaceful walk or a heart‑pounding descent. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough. If you’re in Page and want something unforgettable — something real, personal, and far from the crowds — this is the tour to book.
