Kick back and let the current carry you on our signature Tridge Float — a 2 to 3-hour lazy river ride that starts at the scenic Chippewa Nature Center and winds its way through forested bends and quiet wildlife pockets before dropping you right into the heart of Downtown Midland at The Tridge.

This float is equal parts chill and scenic, perfect for those looking to unplug, laugh with friends, sip something cold, or just drift under the sun. We’ll shuttle you upriver, hand you a deluxe headrest tube, and you’ll do the rest — no paddling required, just vibes.

Float past towering trees, sandbars, and the occasional heron or turtle, then wrap up your trip steps away from restaurants, breweries, and your parked car.

Important details

• Children under 16 require an accompanying parent or guardian.
• Weight limit: 275 lbs per tube.
• Requires the ability to swim or remain safely seated in your tube throughout the float. No lifeguards are on duty.
• Not recommended for people with limited mobility; entering and exiting tubes may require balance and agility on uneven riverbanks.
• Medical advice is recommended before participating if you’re pregnant.
• Intoxication is not permitted on the shuttle or water; service may be refused for safety concerns.
• No pets on tubes or shuttle rides.
• Sign a waiver before departure and wear the provided life jacket throughout the float.
• No alcohol, glass containers, weapons, or illegal substances on the float or shuttle.
• Wear water shoes or secure sandals, not flip-flops.
• Take all your trash with you.
• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled float time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
