- Wear a personal flotation device at all times if you are age 12 or younger
- Stay off the water when lightning is within 10 miles or winds exceed 13 mph

Yes. Dogs are not allowed on Mother's Beach. Take the path to the water, and keep your dog leashed and off the beach.
You can leave your keys with the team, and outdoor shelves are available for shoes. Leave valuables at home or in your car; avoid taking anything on the water that you would not want to lose.
Bring athletic apparel or swimwear, plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and a waterproof phone cover or bag if bringing personal items. A towel and change of clothes are optional.
