- A driver's license and homeowners or renters insurance declaration page must be on file before departure
- Minnesota residents age 18+ must have a Minnesota Boater Education Permit to rent and operate a motorized watercraft; a valid NASBLA-approved boating safety certificate is exempt
- Out-of-state residents are exempt from the permit requirement for rentals of 60 days or less
- Return all items in their rented condition; you are responsible for missing or damaged items
- One full tank of fuel is included; additional fuel is not included in the listed price and costs the fuel price plus a $25 delivery and refill surcharge at public access
- Do not add fuel before returning the boat
- Late returns may incur full- or half-day additional fees
- Return to shore if severe weather develops while you are on the lake
- Rentals may be refused if you appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Cancellation Policy
Cancel 30+ days before for an 80% deposit refund; 14–30 days for 50%; 7–14 days for 25%. No deposit refund within 7 days. Severe weather before departure postpones the rental; reschedule within 30 days, subject to availability. No refunds for late check-ins, early returns, illness, weather, or car problems.
