- Minnesota residents ages 18+ need a valid Minnesota boater education permit or NASBLA-approved boating safety certificate to operate
- Out-of-state residents operating on Minnesota waters for 60 days or less are exempt from the permit requirement
- A card on file is required for additional-fuel charges
- Additional fuel is not included in the listed price and costs the fuel price plus a $25 delivery and refill surcharge at public access
- Return all items in rented condition; you are responsible for missing or damaged items
- Monitor weather conditions and return to shore if severe weather develops
- Rentals may be refused if you appear under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 30 days before for an 80% deposit refund; 14–30 days for 50%; 7–14 days for 25%. No deposit refund within 7 days. Severe weather before departure postpones the rental, with rescheduling within 30 days subject to availability. No refunds for late check-ins, early returns, plan changes, illness, non-severe weather, or car problems.
