Know before you go
- A valid driver's license and homeowners or renters insurance declaration page are required before departure
- Minnesota residents ages 18+ need a valid Minnesota Boater Education Permit or NASBLA-approved boating safety certificate to operate the pontoon
- Complete the staff orientation and sign the equipment checklist before departure
- Pick up between 9 AM and 4 PM
- Return the pontoon on the final rental day at the same time as departure
- Expect full- or half-day additional fees for late returns as late as 9 PM
- Do not add fuel before return when sufficient fuel remains for your rental period
- Expect additional fuel to cost the fuel price plus a $25 public-access delivery and refill surcharge, not included in the listed price
- Return all rented items in the condition received; you are responsible for missing or damaged items
- Do not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Return to shore if severe weather develops while you are on the water
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 10 guests.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 30 days before departure for an 80% deposit refund; 14–30 days for 50%; 7–14 days for 25%. No deposit refund within 7 days. Severe weather before departure postpones the rental; reschedule within 30 days for the same type of day, subject to availability. No refunds for late check-ins, early returns, changes, illness, weather, or car problems.
FAQs
Out-of-state residents operating the pontoon on Minnesota waters for 60 days or less are exempt from the Minnesota Boater Education Permit requirement.
